How To Use the ERS Dry Bag
The ERS dry bag is very versatile and can be used as a day pack to carry essential items such as keys, phones, wallets, and purses – or to secure larger items such as the ERS 12VDC Pump + GO™. This guide shows you the basics of loading your dry bag, making it watertight, and taking it with you on your SUP outings.
Instructions
The ERS dry bag is your best friend on the water and a must-have for all SUP riders. We designed it to be lightweight and easy to use while still being practical and useful. The basic instructions involve creating an airtight seal which is achieved by three rolls of the top flap and secure closure.
PACK CAREFULLY
Generally set the bag with softer items such as towels or clothing toward the bottom of the bag - and easier to reach items such as snacks and drinks towards the top.
ROLL 3 TIMES AND CLIP
Rolling three times and leaving some air in the bag will keep the contents dry, and also give the bag some buoyancy.
USE STRAPS AROUND BUNGEES
The straps on 10L and up models are great for carrying - but can also be used for securing the dry bag around bungee cords so the bag stays secured to the board no matter what.
RELAX - IT FLOATS
If the bag does go in the water it will be able to float for a short period until you can retrieve it.
