US Standard Center Fin Box
Our standard US Fin box has enough space to slide your centre fin up and down, to control how tight or loose your ride responds when turning. It will take any standard US centre fin and we include four distinct sizes in our DUAL range, and two centre fin screws in the in the pack to give you an instantly configurable package straight out of the box.
1. INSERT SCREW + PLATE
Place the screw + plate end of the fin into the box rail and push a forward or backward depending on the fin.
2. UNSCREW AND LEAVE PLATE
Undo the thumbscrew screw - leaving the plate in the box and put the screw in the fin again.
3. SLIDE TAB END
Slide the tabbed end of the fin in the box and slide up towards the opposite end to the plate
4. POSITION SCREW AND FIN OVER PLATE
Alight the fin screw over the screw plate and latch. Slide the fin back and forth from the tab end to help with lining it up.
5. LATCH AND TIGHTEN
Tighten until it has a nice firm hold but the fin can still be moved a little.
6. SLIDE UP AND DOWN BOX
Customize the feel of your ride by sliding the entire fin forward or backwards - and tighten the screw.
1. INSERT CLICK FIN
Align the tabs and push the click fin into position.
2. SLIDE TO CLICK
Push the fin backwards slightly and you will feel a muted click as it moves into position.
3. USE OPTIONAL SCREWS
Use the included grub screws with just one on each side for extra hold.
Performance and Flexibility
Inflatable SUPs can and will be used in different water such as rapids, rocky areas, or extremely shallow places. It is for this reason that a fin developed with optimal flex is preferred, and our fin system allows the use of most standard US centre fins and FCS compatible click fins should you prefer a harder fin in some water.
