ERS Straight Ankle / Knee Leash
The ERS STRAIGHT leash is available in both 8ft and 10ft configurations to suit personal preference. We use premium hardware from the cuff, time tested cord, right down to the swivels – and we back our leashes with a lifetime warranty.
The time tested straight leash tether is a surfing staple do resist the snapback that a coiled leash provides in a fall, but keeps the board a short distance from you. It is available in 8ft & 10ft lengths and can be used for SUP or surf. The padded cuff design allows you to wear it anywhere from your ankle to right under you knee – providing you with a custom fit and suitable for different riding set ups.
TANGLE FREE STRAIGHT CORD
The cord is straight so it resists tanging and the board does not rebound after a hard fall. Straight cords are most often used for surfing because they prevent the board rebound effect.
7mm POLYURETHENE CORD
The time tested 7mm PU cord is strong, durable, and completely unaffected by salt water. Choose an 8’ or 10’ cord based on your board length and paddling/surfing environment.
DUAL PURPOSE ANKLE / KNEE CUFF
The deluxe padded neoprene cuff is has additional range of adjustment so it can be worn just as comfortably around the ankle or above the calf.
THICKER RAIL SAVER
The webbing and Velcro for attachment of the leash to your board is 30% thicker than the competition, resulting in less potential for damaging the board in a hard fall, stronger attachment and less wear.
DUAL ANTI TANGLE SWIVELS
Stainless steel ball bearing swivels are provided on both ends of the cord to keep the leash from tangling.
CONVENIENT KEY HOLDER
A Velcro sealed pocket sewn into the cuff give you a place to stash your car key, fin key, or a bit of money to always have on hand.
FLEXIBLE ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
A high tensile strength nylon loop is included for attachment to hard boards, or use a carabiner to clip onto an inflatable SUP D-Ring instantly.
